The course has many vistas, including some magnificent views into Melba, Nampa, Lake Lowell, Meridian, Eagle, The Squaw Butte in Emmett, and a wonderful panoramic view of Boise and the surrounding foothills. The race starts at 10am from the third parking lot of the Birds Of Prey area. The trail consists of mostly double track, jeep, and ATV trail. Slicker’s Loop (at about mile two), takes you on a short and steep little hill climb, followed by a 2 mile range loop where you can see into Melba and parts of the Snake River. At mile four it’s North to the less than one mile ridge run where all of Ada County comes into view, and then it’s a down hill finish (Slightly over a mile).
