Description:  Course: The 5K course will be out-and-back on country roads just West of Greenleaf, with a slight hill near the start runners will charge up to the finish line. The 1-mile course will be a flat, out-and-back course on Red Top Road. Both races finish and start at Red Top Blazers (22965 Red Top Road, Wilder). The Hoofin' It 5K is a fund-raising event for the ABHA, a non-profit organization that promotes the Blazer horse nationally by spreading information about these horses to the public, while offering support to Blazer owners in their activities. Born in Idaho in the 1950s, the Blazer horse stands between 13 and 15 hands (roughly 4-foot-4 to 5-foot at the highest point of their back), and are known for their athleticism, versatility, durability, heart and disposition.
