Description:	The Jon Francis Race to Lake Alturas is a 5k race organized in memory of Jon Francis, a counselor at Luther Heights Bible Camp, who died while hiking on Grand Mogul in 2006. Money raised will be donated to Luther Heights Bible Camp and the Jon Francis Foundation. Luther Heights Bible Camp (http://www.lutherheights.org) is a Lutheran camp located near Lake Alturas in Blaine County. Luther Heights is a 501c3, non-profit organization that has served countless number of kids, young adults and families over its 50 years of operation. The mission of Luther Heights is to provide safe and amazing experiences to proclaim the Gospel, build faith, and strengthen the body of Christ. The Jon Francis Foundation (http://www.jonfrancis.org) is a 501c3, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide families with information, logistical, and emotional support during a wilderness search and rescue operation and to increase knowledge and awareness of wilderness safety to reduce incidents of
